The Standing Committee on Finance, Parliament of India released its Report on Competition Amendment Bill, 2022. It was chaired by Mr Jayant Sinha and released its report on 13th December, while the Bill was referred to the Committee on 17th August this year. After holding consultations with government, experts and industry, its report includes recommendations on hub and spoke cartels, effects based analysis, IPR exemptions, deal value thresholds and settlements.
