The DG-CCI has reportedly conducted searches on the premises of four companies supplying tarpaulin to the Food Corporation of India (FCI) on suspicion of cartelization. Offices of companies, Shivalik Agro Poly Products, Climax Synthetics, Arun Manufacturing Services and Bag Poly International were searched by more than 40 officials of the DG’s office. This is the sixth dawn raid conducted by DG-CCI with the first one being in the JCB case and the fifth dawn raid since October last year.
